19th September 2010 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: 24.95 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 19.96 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Out with Steve. Started on the 5.6m and Naish Hybrid Freewave 86 ltr board. That felt a little too much but I stuck with it for almost and hour then changed down to a 5m. That was OK, but the wind filled in and that became a little too much as well. At the same time I snapped a footstrap bolt so that gave me a good excuse to change down to a smaller board as well. Steve packed up and went home at this stage and I had another half hour or so well powered with my little board and a 5m sail. Perfect. The wind then eased off a bit so I packed up after a good days sailing. |
